Parga Publishing House requested a new design of its classic Greek dictionary so that the product looked more contemporary and fresh. The only requirement was to maintain the green colour of its original cover design so that it would still be familiar to customers. The purpose of the project was to create a book cover that though was recognisable as being a dictionary, was also more creative than the conventional dictionary cover.

Focusing on the Greek alphabet letterform of A and Ω (Alpha and Omega) allowed a smooth transition from front to back of the book whilst making it clear that it was a Greek book. The finished design was simple, clear and instantly recognisable.
